Lakes Ochsenfelder
Waters at an altitude of 2,555 m
Along the 11-summit tour from Anterselva/Antholzertal valley to Val Casies/Gsiesertal valley
If hikers want to climb the Höllensteinspitze (2,755 m), they will pass the lakes Ochsenfelder. Lucky them, because these natural pools of water supplied by springs are located on an idyllic high pasture, which is perfect for a break in between. From the upper lake Ochsenfeldsee, for example, you can see the pyramid of the Amperspitze in the Anterselva/Antholzertal valley.
