Cross-country skiing around Lake Anterselva/Antholz
Lake Anterselva/Antholz

Alpine lake at the head of the valley

Centre of attraction for families, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts

Where the Anterselva/Antholz Valley ends and flows over the Passo Stalle/Staller Sattel into the Austrian Defreggen Valley lies an idyllic lake. Lake Anterselva/Antholz attracts visitors all year round for a variety of activities: Classic hiking, stand-up paddle boarding or swimming. In the colder months of the year, on the other hand, you can go winter hiking or cross-country skiing - and the particularly hardy can go ice thawing. At the foot of the lake is the biathlon centre, which attracts national and international biathlon stars and enthusiastic visitors to the World Cup every year.
