Based on the international criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the seal serves as both a guide and recognition for sustainable practices.

In October 2024, the Dolomite Panorama Region Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley-Monguelfo/Welsberg-Tesido/Taisten received the highest level of the South Tyrol Sustainability Seal. After a comprehensive audit by Vireo Srl, we fully met all nine criteria in the fields of ecology, society, and culture.

How accommodation and catering establishments can obtain the label

In addition to destinations, accommodation and gastronomy establishments can also achieve the South Tyrol Sustainability label.

They can submit existing certifications or undergo an audit to meet the label's requirements.

The 3-level model allows for a gradual progression, with Level 3 representing the highest stage and the maximum sustainability standards.
