Sacred art, the valuable cathedral treasury, books from the 15th to 18th centuries and an extensive collection of manuscripts can be seen in the seven exhibition rooms in the chapter house of the monastery complex. It also houses the abbey's archive and library. Right next door is the collegiate church of San Candido/Innichen, the oldest monastery in Tyrol and the most important Romanesque sacred building in the Eastern Alps. So let's go there.
