History and present of the oldest language in the region

Ladin cultural history in the Ciastel de Tor: In the former court building of the bishops of Brixen, the his-tory of a linguistic minority, the Ladins, is illuminated from different perspectives. The exhibition in the old walls shows the history of Ladinia through archaeological and geological finds, artisanal artefacts and the development of tourism and the economy.

How do I get there by public transport?
With the Guest Pass, you can travel free of charge on the 441 bus line from Val Casies/Gsiesertal valley or on the 438 city bus from Tesido/Taisten and Monguelfo/Welsberg to Monguelfo/Welsberg railway station. From there, take the train on the San Candido/Innichen-Fortezza/Franzensfeste line to St. Lorenzen station. At the railway station in St. Lorenzen, change to bus line 460 Val Badia – Colfosco/Kolfuschg and get off at Pikolein, Gesundheitssprengel (6th stop). From there, change to line 464 LongiarĂº and continue to St. Martin, Campill junction (3rd stop). After a 10-minute walk you will reach the museum.
