Spring flavours
Regional. Seasonal. Made with love.
One of the most appreciated local products is the original „Gsieser“ ox beef – young cattle raised on fresh alpine pastures, nourished by mountain herbs. The tender meat is known for its quality and care in animal welfare.

There’s more to savour: alpine cheese, mountain honey, jams, herbal syrups and other delights – all produced with love on local farms.
Sweet tooths can enjoy a slice of buckwheat cake with lingonberries or a traditional Kaiserschmarrn on a sunny terrace. That’s how spring tastes – honest, regional and simply good.

Tradition & culture
Tradition that lights the soul

Spring not only brings blooming fields but also revives cherished traditions

A place of reflection is the Via Lucis meditation trail in S. Martino – South Tyrol’s first “path of light”. Along 7 km, 14 stations guide you through stillness, nature and art.

During Holy Week, the parish church of Tesido becomes a mystical setting with one of Tyrol’s oldest Easter tombs, lit by hundreds of colourful glass lights – a tradition full of meaning and wonder.
