When you check in at one of our member accommodations, you will receive the Südtirol Guest Pass – Gsiesertal-Welsberg-Taisten Card. This allows you to use all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge and gives you benefits and diverse touristic Services.

Free or discounted guided excursions from the holiday Active Programme: family hikes, mountain tours, pleasure, climbing, family, hiking and cultural days! Children up to the age of 13.9 take part in the holiday Active-Programme free of charge.
Active Summer hiking map and hiking suggestions, available at your accommodation.
Spielgolf Welsberg/Monguelfo: reduced entry: adults € 3,80; children up to 14 years € 2,80. Families of 4 persons: 1 child free.
10% discount:
- at the bike rental Huski bike rentals at Monguelfo/Welsberg and Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley-S. Maddalena/St. Magdalena.
- at the bike rental Papin Sport Rent a Bike at the train station at Monguelfo/Welsberg.
- at the adventure park at Dobbiaco/Toblach.
- at KreativRaft in the Valle Aurina/Ahrntal Valley.

The digital guest card

You will receive the Guest Pass in digital form after check-in at your accommodation, provided it is a member of the Val Casies/Gsiesertal-Monguelfo/Welsberg-Tesido/Taisten Tourist Association.
If you wish to use the guest card for your arrival by public transport, you can obtain it in advance through a pre-check-in!
The digital ticket will already include your name and the duration of your stay. The ticket is valid for the entire duration of your stay.
You can use it as a PDF on a mobile device or add it to your "Wallet." Alternatively, you can print the PDF and carry it in paper form.

Handling & validation system

With the Guest Pass you can use the following public transport:

Regional trains in South Tyrol (Brennero (A)- Trento, Malles-San Candido)
Local buses (regional buses, intercity buses, city buses)
Cable cars to Renon, Maranza, San Genesio, Meltina, Verano and Colle(Bolzano)
Narrow - track railway up to Renon and the cable railway up to Mendola
AutoPosta Swiss between Malles and Müstair
Children aged up to 5,9 years; buggies and luggage are free of charge.

Exceptions:

Shuttle no. 439 Monguelfo-Lago di Braies and busline 442 Lago di Braies from the first days of July until the first days of September
Shuttle no. 444 Auronzo/3 Cime and shuttle no. 440 Sesto-Val Fiscalina-Passo Monte Croci
Long-distance trains or express trains (ÖBB, DB, Intercity, Eurocity, Euronight, Eurostar, Frecciargento)
Trains on the track Brennero-Innsbruck(A) (tickets are available only at the ticket counter or at the ticket vending machines) and San Candido-Lienz(A) (tickets can be purchased on the train)
Nightliner
Transport of dogs or other animals and transport of bicycles.

Cancellation system and important information:

IMPORTANT: The Guest Pass has to be signed on the backside with your name and the period of your stay.
The Guest Pass is a personal, non-transferable ticket.
The ticket must be validated before every ride, without indication of destination.
Validation on the bus: using the QR code reader at the front of the blue machine.
Validation at the station: using the QR code reader at the bottom, on the underside of the blue machine.
The Guest Pass is not intended for sale.
The Guest Pass is valid for seven consecutive calendar days from the day of first use. For a holiday stay of more than seven days, a second ticket (valid from 0:00 on the day of arrival until 23:59 on the day of departure) will be issued.
Children under the age of six do not need a ticket to use public transport.

Detailed provisions

: Personal tickets must be presented together with a valid identity card at the request of the bus driver or control personnel. Children and young people who have not yet reached the age of 14 are exempt from this provision. It is sufficient for them to show their ticket.
: The passenger is responsible for the safekeeping of the ticket, avoiding in particular circumstances that could render the data contained therein illegible. In the case of a Guestpass which cannot be cancelled and which has not been arbitrarily damaged, the passenger has the right to terminate the journey on buses and trains with validators on board. The ticket will be cancelled by the bus driver or ticket inspector and the passenger can obtain a new ticket from the lessor. On trains, the passenger must purchase a regular ticket before starting the journey.
