Discover the wonders of the forest with biologist and herbalist Carolin. Children learn exciting facts about trees and forest dwellers through play and research. Together they collect the resin from the trees and use it to make a traditional healing ointment, a much-appreciated household remedy in South Tyrol, in the garden of Castle Welsperg. Each "forest runner" creates their own unique badge as a souvenir of this adventure day. Backpacking provisions. Difficulty: easy, suitable for families. Target group: families with children. By car: In the village centre in Monguelfo drive towards Via Stazione, past the tourist office & bus stop, turn right at the Rienzbrücke bridge and park at car park no. 6. Free and unlimited parking.
