From the hiking parking lot above Mudler, you reach the Mount Lutterkopf (2145 m) after about 2 hours of easy ascent. The view is magnificent, from the Sesto Dolomites in the south to the Ortler and the Rieserferner Group in the north. Continue in open terrain and descend through the Taistner Alm hut to the starting point. Ambitious hikers have the option of adding the Durakopf at 2275 m. The additional time required is around one hour. Refreshment stop. As an alternative in case of insufficient snow, the tour is offered as a winter hike. Difficulty: medium. Time: 09:00 am.-03:00 pm. Tesido - Hotel Alpen Tesitin - Mudlerhof - paid hiking parking lot above Mudler. Green Mobility: Travel from the Val Casies Valley to Tesido by bus line 441. Bus stop: Tesido, Raika. Continue with Citybus 438 from the bus stop Tesido, Raika to the bus stop Tesido, Mudler. From Monguelfo and Tesido, take Citybus line 438 to the Bus stop Tesido, Mudler. Good to know

For snowshoe hiking, ankle-high and especially waterproof winter hiking boots with a firm sole are required (no Moon Boots, no Winter Boots). For all hikes, the following is recommended: good footwear and warm clothing (possibly also a change of clothes), a snack, and a warm drink.
