The tour begins on the picturesque Plätzwiese plateau, one of the most beautiful High Plateaus in the Dolomites, which transforms into a magical winter wonderland. Winter hike with or without snowshoes (depending on snow conditions) to Mount Strudelkopf (2307 m). The view from the summit of Strudelkopf offers breathtaking vistas of the famous Three Peaks and other towering Dolomite peaks. Refreshment stop. Difficulty: easy. Time: 08:30 am.-04:00 pm. Good to know

For snowshoe hiking, ankle-high and especially waterproof winter hiking boots with a firm sole are required (no Moon Boots, no Winter Boots). For all hikes, the following is recommended: good footwear and warm clothing (possibly also a change of clothes), a snack, and a warm drink.
