The Plätzwiese high plateau in the Pragser Tal Valley is a high plateau at 2000 m, easily accessible by car. From the parking lot, you can already see two of the three possible ski tour destinations: the Picco di Vallandro (2839 m) and the Pyramid (Crepe di Val Chiara 2711 m). The third ski tour, right in the heart of the Hohe Gaisl, the Pinscharte at 2565 m, can only be glimpsed from the refuge Plätzwiesenhütte. All three tours have one thing in common: they take you through the Dolomites, with views of the Tre Cime. The snow conditions will decide the destination for the day. Difficulty: Pyramid easy, Picco di Vallandro and Pinscharte medium. Refreshment stop after the tour on the Plätzwiese. Time: 08:00 am.-04:00 pm. Altitude difference: max. 800 m. Meeting point: 08:00 am. at the train station in Monguelfo. Costs: Single tour GP 125 €, 135 €. 3-day package GP 350 €, 360 €. Each additional tour: GP +50 €, +60 €.
