Are you longing for a beautiful holiday in the Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley, where you can experience nature and farm life up close? Then you’ve come to the right place. In our charming region, you will find peace and relaxation. Our small family-run business with its own farm is located at 1400 meters, quietly nestled in our own meadows. We are an excellent starting point for leisurely walks in the nearby woods, hikes, ski tours, and more. We offer 4 fully furnished apartments for 2-4 people, each with its own kitchen, bathroom, digital TV, balcony, and a wonderful view of the northern Dolomites or the mountain range of the valley. We also have a room with a bathroom and digital TV. Upon request, we are happy to serve a rich breakfast with our farm’s own products (milk, yogurt, eggs, jams), which you can enjoy in our traditional Tyrolean lounge with a wood stove. In summer, there are excursion possibilities to the many surrounding mountain pastures, some of which are managed, or you can reach mountain peaks as high as 2700 meters, like Hochstein, Hochkreuz, or Schwarzsee. Every year on the third Sunday of September, the traditional Val Casies/Gsiesertal Mountain Hut Festival takes place. A few bicycles are waiting to be used, and we have a barbecue for outdoor dining on warm summer evenings. Children will also not get bored: While you enjoy sunny hours on our lawn, the little ones can play on the playground, pet the cats, watch the chickens in the barn, feed the cows, or watch the farmer milking. Our valley is also known for its many ski touring opportunities in winter, as well as for the 42 km long cross-country skiing trail that passes right by our guesthouse. Every year, on the third Sunday of February, the great Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley Ski Marathon takes place. There are also opportunities for fun sledding trips to the alpine pastures open in winter. Famous ski resorts like Kronplatz or Helm are only 25 km away, and a smaller lift for beginners with a local ski school is just 1.5 km away.
